Class Details: Friday 7:45am – 9pm, Saturday & Sunday 8am – 9pm
Lunch Break 11:30-12:30 daily
Required for class: Hi-lighters, calculator, paper & required books for exam.
Suggested: Jacket/sweatshirt, snacks (alcohol is prohibited)

The Plumbing Technician Workshop includes the Plumbing portion of the instruction, but NOT the Business & Law portion. After passing a technicians exam, one can take a Business exam and get a P-1 after passing the 50 question Business and Law exam.

Additional Info:
Applicants for a license as a plumbing or heating technician shall present evidence adequate to establish 3000 hours of full-time experience in the installation, maintenance, service, or repair of plumbing or heating systems related to the category for which a technician license is sought, whether or not a license was required for the work performed. Applicants for a license as a fuel piping technician shall present evidence adequate to establish 1500 hours of experience in the installation, maintenance, service, or repair of fuel piping, whether or not a license was required for the work performed. Up to one-half of the experience may be in academic or technical training related to the field of endeavor for which the examination is requested
Applicants can take an exam that allows them to oversee work on the job for a plumbing contractor where their name is listed under a licensed contractors license. They cannot bid on jobs, but also do not need as much experience required to take the exam.
